Kylie Jenner is set to celebrate her 22nd birthday aboard a $250 million yacht previously seized by the feds.
The 300-foot schooner, once owned by infamous Malaysian fugitive Jho Low, had been taken over by prosecutors as they investigated him for his alleged pilfering of the Malaysian Sovereign wealth fund 1MDB, according to court records and sources.
The mega-yacht, which Low called Equanimity, was later resold for $126 million to a Malaysian casino operator, Genting Malaysia Berhad, rebranded and renamed “Tranquility,” sources familiar with the matter revealed.Genting now rents out the yawl for $1.2 million a week to wealthy revelers — who are likely unaware that Low once hid out on the boat. He and model Miranda Kerr also famously frolicked on its deck while he showered her with millions of dollars in diamond jewelry. While on board, Jenner and her buddies will enjoy such amenities as a Turkish bath, pool, beauty salon, movie theater, elevators, gym and outdoor bar.
They’ll also have full use of the ship’s 29-person staff, according to the boat’s Web site.
Reps for the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality-TV star did not immediately return a request for comment.
It wasn’t clear if the young billionaire Jenner was aware of the yacht’s sordid past.
Jenner’s birthday is Saturday.
Low remains at large and is accused of using the stolen funds to buy New York City real estate and art and fund major motion pictures such as “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Daddy’s Home.”
Red Granite Pictures agreed to pay the feds $60 million last year to settle claims it had accepted filched money.
